What it is good for

A metal component inside an otherwise acrylic build.

Most jobs that need metal need it as one component in a larger build — an aluminum edge channel on a display fixture, a brass engraving plate on a hardwood plaque, a steel mounting bracket behind an acrylic panel. Metal cutting runs alongside those builds rather than as a separate supplier and a separate shipment.

This is a cutting and sizing service, not a welding or forming shop — parts come off deburred and to spec, ready for assembly or for a finish you source separately if the job calls for it.

Typical parts
  • Aluminum edge channels and frames
  • Brass and steel engraving plates
  • Mounting brackets and backer plates
  • Standoffs and hardware blanks
  • Sheet stock cut to size

How it runs

File to sized part.

01

File or spec check

A cut file, a dimensioned sketch or a sample part — we confirm size and quantity before it is quoted.

02

Material sourcing

Common gauges are on site; specialty sizes are a couple of days out from a Dallas supplier.

03

Cut & deburr

Parts are cut to size and deburred on every edge before they move to the next step.

04

Hand-off or assembly

Parts ship as-is, or move straight into an acrylic or wood assembly already running on the floor.

Common questions

Do you weld or form metal parts?

No — this is a cutting and sizing service. If a part needs welding, forming or plating, tell us up front and we will scope what we can hand off ready for that step.

Can metal parts ship as part of a larger acrylic or wood build?

Yes — that is the most common way this service gets used. One PO, one shipment.

What is the minimum order?

One piece for a cut-to-size part; check with us on stock minimums for extrusion and tube.
